Join us at the Construction Experience Center in Denver, Colorado for a two-day course on building Zero Energy Ready Homes. Presented by Construction Instruction and the Energy and Environmental Building Alliance, this comprehensive program equips participants with the knowledge and skills to construct high-performance zero energy ready homes.
Day one focuses on Zero Energy Buildings, covering advanced wall systems, high-performance mechanical systems, and renewable energy integration. Learn to select the most cost-effective materials and technologies to design, model, and construct homes that only use as much energy as they are able to produce over the course of each year. The emphasis will be on finding practical solutions for each specific climate zone.
Day two centers around reducing carbon emissions during the construction and operation of homes, with the end goal of designing and constructing homes while avoiding the emissions of greenhouse gasses now and in the future. The compelling trend is to build Net Zero Carbon homes, and to this end in this session, you will be exploring the latest advancements in understanding the impact of operational and embodied carbon on the sustainability of your build. Learn how to use carbon accounting tools to measure, analyze, and manage operational and embodied carbon in materials and processes.
Gain practical expertise through hands-on exercises and case studies.
By the end of the two-day course, you'll be empowered to confidently build zero energy ready homes while effectively addressing operational and embodied carbon. Join us and be at the forefront of sustainable construction, creating homes that prioritize energy efficiency, cost savings, durability, comfort, and a reduced carbon footprint.
